WHAT: We will be building 3 homes in Tijuana, Mexico

WHY: We will be building 8 homes for families in need who have been connected and working with YWAM San Diego/Baja. The work being done by the YWAM team in Tijuana is having a huge impact in the community. Current community members live in structures made of materials they have been able to find or purchase for a low cost in the area. In one weekend, we will be able to build a secure, safe home for a family. The work we do is a part of the larger work being done by the YWAM staff to show the Tijuana community what a consistent life surrendered to Jesus Christ looks like. After we build the house, YWAM will continue to meet with and serve the family.

- Meet at Crossing | Windmill @ 7am
- Depart Crossing church in vans
- Eat breakfast on the road
- Check in at base
- Orientation
- Dinner on base
- FRIDAY, September 4
- Breakfast at base
- Briefing
- Go to build site & start work
- Lunch at build site
- Keep building
- Dinner and debrief on base
- SATURDAY, September 5

- Depart for Las Vegas @ 5am
- Arrive back in Las Vegas mid afternoon

Responsibilities
- We will be building a home. Duties include but are not limited to: painting, framing, installing the roof & walls, and putting together furniture.
Restrictions
- Minimum Age Requirement: 8 years old

- Attend Zoom Meeting - September 1st 6:30pm-7:30pm
