For each home build, there is a shopping time before the house is presented to the family. We went to a Walmart and the family was reluctant to select food, personal hygiene products and personal items. We encouraged them to take more. We had a budget that was very substantial and could provide a lot of products for them, mostly food. After we completed our shopping and were ready to return to the build site, I was approached by a security guard in the parking lot where our bus was parked. He saw the family, a bunch of Americans and many grocery bags with groceries. He asked me if we were helping the community. I Said yes and then he asked what we were doing. I told him we were with YWAM and building 3 houses for 3 families. He was elated and told me he too was a Christian. He thanked us and said may God bless you!!
