TCS Spring Break Serve

The Crossing Students will be serving at Casa de Luz during spring break! They will have opportunities to serve in the Casa food pantry, join in outreach, and assist with other needed tasks. TCS will be on site at Casa de Luz from 9:45am-1:30pm both Monday the 16th and Tuesday the 17th. 

Pickups and Drop offs will happen at 2416 Tam Dr., the Casa Youth Center building. Drop offs will need to be between 9:30am and 9:45am both mornings. 
 

Casa de Luz is a faith-based community resource center transforming high-need neighborhoods through consistent presence, relational care, and practical support, helping families find stability and hope.  

• Embedded in 4 high need neighborhoods — Naked City, Sherwood Forest, Paradise Flamingo, and Sunrise Martin

• 500+ children enrolled — safe spaces to learn, heal, and grow

• Teens find mentorship, direction, and opportunity through Casa’s programs — with paid internships, scholarships, and safe spaces that keep them off the streets and on track for success

• 2,000+ people served at the pantry each month connecting families to ongoing care and resources

• 50+ families monthly walking with us toward stability and sustainability through case management

• Healthcare, dental, diapers, and household essentials accessible onsite through community partnerships  

• 50% drop in crime through Safe Village initiative in Naked City

• 15+ years of restoring hope and rebuilding community
